Dr. David M. Allen
Dr. David M. Allen is originally from the Chicago, Illinois, area. He has been a chiropractic care physician for over 17 years. He graduated from Life University’s Chiropractic School in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Allen is also a graduate of the Spine Research Institute of San Diego with an advanced certification in whiplash and brain injury traumatology. He has done extensive post-graduate work in the world famous Gonstead Technique of Chiropractic as well as studies in extremities, radiographic analysis, spinal rehabilitation and strengthening, and in diagnosis and treatment of acute automobile, sports- and work-related injuries.
After graduating from graduate school, he & his wife, Sue, realized that they wanted to stay in the South. The nice weather, friendly people and beautiful landscapes all appealed to them. They spent almost six months traveling all over the southeastern United States before choosing Clarksville as the place to open their practice and start their family of 4 kids.
Dr. David M. Allen is also certified by the national and Tennessee State Board of Examiners and is an active member of the Tennessee Chiropractic Association. He was also voted Best Chiropractor in Clarksville for the last four years.
Dr. David M. Allen was also voted the Best of Clarksville “Best Chiropractor” in 2017 and is an 11-time winner of that award.
Dr. Tyler J. Jennings
Dr. Tyler Jennings is a Chiropractic Physician at Riverside Spine and Physical Medicine. He was raised in Southern Illinois and went on to attend Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. After three years, he transferred to Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO. While there he received his Bachelor of Human Biology degree on his way to earning a Doctor of Chiropractic in August of 2012. Upon graduation, Dr. Jennings and his family moved back to Southern Illinois where he started practicing. In April of 2014, he and his family moved to Clarksville, TN where he joined the team at Riverside Spine and Physical Medicine. Dr. Jennings believes in an integrated approach to patient care to get the best long-term results for his patients.
Dr. Jennings is board certified by both National and Tennessee Board of Chiropractic Examiners and has had extensive training in Diversified, Thompson, Gonstead, Cox, and Logan Basic techniques.
Dr. John L. Stanton
Dr. Stanton has been practicing Orthopedics since 1982. He received his MD degree from Baylor College of Medicine and is Board Certified in Orthopedics. After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Stanton performed his internship at St. Paul Hospital in Dallas, Texas and his Residency program in Orthopedics at Brooke Army Medical Center.
Dr. Stanton’s professional societies include the Southern Orthopedic Association and Southern Medical Association, and he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Stanton and his wife, Cathy, have two children: Travis and Jacob. Currently he and his family reside in Clarksville, Tennessee.

I believe in meeting patients’ individual needs through comprehensive evaluation and treatment designed to help them achieve an active, pain-free lifestyle. Many musculoskeletal conditions can be treated by non-surgical techniques–surgery is just one treatment option. I combine leading edge techniques with proven traditional methods to provide our patients with the best orthopaedic care possible.
It is my responsibility to make sure patients are well informed about their conditions and the multiple choices of treamtent. My professional staff and I will also provide you with the patient education materials that give you added appreciation of your condition and treatment options.
Dr. John Tyschyk PT, DPT,OCS
John graduated in 2000 from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology. In 2000, he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist via the National Strength and Conditioning Association. in 2005, he graduated from Florida Gulf Coast university with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
John became an Adjunct Professor in Exercise Physiology for Florida Gulf Coast University as he developed as a new Physical Therapist in Naples, FL. He has experience in acute orthopedic, acute neurological, comprehensive rehabilitation units, outpatient orthopedic, outpatient neurological, and home health settings.
In 2017, he earned the distinct title as a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. The specialist certification program was established to provide formal recognition for physical therapist with advanced clinical knowledge, experience, and skills in a special area of practice and to assist consumers and the health care community in identifying these physical therapists. As of June 2017, ABPTS has certified only 12,893 orthopedic specialists in the nation.
After the birth of his second daughter in January 2018, he and his wife decided to move to Tennessee to enjoy seasonal changes and outdoor activities offered.
Inessa Chernish, PA-C
Inessa was born and raised in Nashville, TN. She graduated from Lee University in Cleveland, TN in 2012 where she received her Bachelor of Science in Health Science. She then graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN with her Master of Science Medicine in 2015.
Inessa is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and of the Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants (TAPA).
Licensed Massage Therapist LMT
Karissa was born into an active duty military family from Texas. She joined the Army after High School in 1995. She married a fellow soldier and decided to be a mother while her children were growing up.
When her family moved here to Clarksville in 2012 she decided to go to massage therapy school at Miller-Monte Technical College. She graduated with a 4.0 GPA in December of 2014 and received her Tennessee Massage Therapy License in 2015.
She has been married for over 21 years 9 of those years have been spent in Europe. Her oldest daughter is in the Navy and her youngest daughter just started APSU this Fall 2018.
In 2016 she came to work at Riverside Spine and Physical Medicine where she expanded her knowledge becoming a Chiropractic Therapy Assistant and was licensed in 2017. She enjoys helping patients heal and feel better without major surgeries or heavy medications.
Kelli Bridwell is an Exercise Physiologist at Riverside Spine and Physical Medicine. She was born and raised in Kingsport, Tennessee, where she attended Northeast State Community College. After receiving her Associates in Exercise Science, she transferred to Austin Peay State University. In May of 2018, she received her Bachelor’s in Health and Human Performance, concentrating in Applied Exercise Science.
She has now made Clarksville, Tennessee her new home. At Riverside Spine and Physical Medicine, Kelli focuses on weight loss regimens. With her continuous research on nutrition and exercise, she is confident that she can help our patients achieve their desired weight loss goals.
