Dr. John L. Stanton, MD

Medical Director Orthopedic Surgeon
Specializes in Pain Management

Dr. Stanton has been practicing Orthopedics since 1982. He received his MD degree from Baylor College of Medicine and is Board Certified in Orthopedics. After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Stanton performed his internship at St. Paul Hospital in Dallas, Texas and his Residency program in Orthopedics at Brooke Army Medical Center. Dr. Stanton’s professional societies include the Southern Orthopedic Association and Southern Medical Association, and he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He has over 35 years experience with the following treatments: Pain Management, Arthritis, Arthroscopic Surgery, Disability, Joint Replacement, Osteoporosis, Sports Medicine, Trauma/Fractures, Partial Joint Replacement

Dr. Stanton and his wife, Cathy, have two children: Travis and Jacob. Currently he and his family reside in Clarksville, Tennessee.

He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

My approach to treating patients: Whether you’re making the decision for orthopedic care, or rehabilitative/physical medicine, or just looking to expand your knowledge, I look to make you more informed and more confident about the incredible realm of treatments available. I believe in meeting patients’ individual needs through comprehensive evaluation and treatment designed to help them achieve an active, pain-free lifestyle. Many musculoskeletal conditions can be treated by non-surgical techniques. I utilize leading-edge techniques with proven traditional methods to provide our patients with the best care possible. It is my responsibility to make sure patients are well informed about their conditions and the multiple choices of treatment. Dr. David M. Allen

Chiropractic Physician

Dr. David M. Allen is originally from the Chicago, Illinois, area. He has been a chiropractic care physician since 2000 when he opened Riverside Spine & Physical Medicine. He graduated from Life University’s Chiropractic School in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Allen is also a graduate of the Spine Research Institute of San Diego with an advanced certification in whiplash and brain injury traumatology. He has done extensive post-graduate work in the world famous Gonstead Technique of Chiropractic as well as studies in extremities, radiographic analysis, spinal rehabilitation and strengthening, and in diagnosis and treatment of acute automobile, sports- and work-related injuries.

After graduating from graduate school, he & his wife, Sue, realized that they wanted to stay in the South. The nice weather, friendly people and beautiful landscapes all appealed to them. They spent almost six months traveling all over the southeastern United States before choosing Clarksville as the place to open their practice and start their family of 4 kids.

Dr. David M. Allen is also certified by the national and Tennessee State Board of Examiners and is an active member of the Tennessee Chiropractic Association. He was also voted Best Chiropractor in Clarksville for the last four years.

Dr. David M. Allen was also voted the Best of Clarksville “Best Chiropractor” in 2019 and is an 13-time winner of that award.

Dr. Tyler J. Jennings

Chiropractic Physician

Dr. Tyler Jennings is a Chiropractic Physician at Riverside Spine and Physical Medicine. He was raised in Southern Illinois and went on to attend Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. After three years, he transferred to Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO.

While there he received his Bachelor of Human Biology degree on his way to earning a Doctor of Chiropractic in August of 2012. Upon graduation, Dr. Jennings and his family moved back to Southern Illinois where he started practicing. In April of 2014, he and his family moved to Clarksville, TN where he joined the team at Riverside Spine and Physical Medicine.

Dr. Jennings believes in an integrated approach to patient care to get the best long-term results for his patients. Dr. Jennings is board certified by both National and Tennessee Board of Chiropractic Examiners and has had extensive training in Diversified, Thompson, Gonstead, Cox, and Logan Basic techniques.

Amanda Scott


Amanda Scott originally graduated from Ball State University in 2012, with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She then attended Austin Peay University in which she earned a Masters of Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner Degree in 2019, becoming a Certified FNP.

Adriane Wencel

Physical Therapist

Adriane is originally from Brazil where she graduated from Pontifical Catholic University of Parana, Brazil in 1989. She began her career in Brazil for a few years and then moved to the United States where she has practiced in Madeira Beach, Florida, then to Kingsport, Tennessee and then finally landed in the Nashville area in 1996 where she has remained since.

Adriane has extensive experience in orthopedic, neurological, pediatric and acute care patients. She has 31 years of experience as a Physical Therapist and enjoys utilizing her knowledge on the “tough cases”.

Adriane currently resides in Hendersonville, Tennessee. She is married with 1 son and enjoys embroidering and gardening.
