My name is Zack Stewart, and I am a Physician Assistant with a background in musculoskeletal medicine, patient-centered care, and wellness optimization. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a minor in Pre-Professional Health from Austin Peay State University before completing my Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Bethel University.
I was born in Alabama but grew up in Clarksville, Tennessee, which has always felt like home. Prior to my civilian medical career, I served for three years in the military as a Battalion Physician Assistant at Fort Campbell. My time in military medicine helped shape my approach to leadership, teamwork, discipline, and patient care under pressure.
I am passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life through evidence-based medicine, movement, education, and long-term lifestyle changes. I especially enjoy working with patients to restore function, reduce pain, and help them return to the activities they love most.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy strength training, fitness, personal development, and spending time with family.
“Treat the patient like family, educate them like a teammate, and care for them like their outcome truly matters — because it does.”
I believe the best healthcare comes from listening first. Every patient has a story, goals, fears, and frustrations that deserve to be understood before treatment decisions are made. My goal is not only to help patients feel better, but to help them understand their condition and feel empowered throughout the process.
I also strongly believe in balancing evidence-based medicine with compassion and practicality. Medicine is not one-size-fits-all, and the best outcomes often come from building trust, creating realistic plans, and meeting patients where they are in life.
At the core of why I do what I do is simple: helping people regain function, confidence, and quality of life is incredibly rewarding.
Integrity: Doing the right thing even when nobody is watching.
Compassion: Treating every patient with empathy, respect, and understanding.
Discipline: Bringing consistency, preparation, and professionalism into every aspect of work and life.
Accountability: Taking ownership of decisions, outcomes, and patient care.
Continuous Growth: Always striving to improve personally and professionally in order to better serve patients and those around me.
