Denise Covington

PT
Physical Therapist

I’m a physical therapist with over 37 years of experience helping people manage pain and improve their movement. I grew up in Carbondale, Illinois, and went on to earn my PTA degree from Middle Tennessee State University and my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Tennessee State University. My journey in this field started as a physical therapy technician, allowing me to gain valuable experience working directly with patients. Over the years, I’ve expanded my knowledge and skills, becoming a licensed physical therapist assistant and then a Doctor of Physical Therapy, allowing me to provide comprehensive care and treatment plans to a wider range of individuals.

I am passionate about helping people overcome pain and regain their full potential for movement. Throughout my career, I’ve witnessed firsthand the challenges individuals face due to pain conditions and limitations in their mobility and function. This is why I’m dedicated to providing personalized care and evidence-based treatment plans to address these very issues.

Here at Riverside  Spine, I specialize in treating pain conditions, musculoskeletal problems, spine conditions, and balance issues. I’m particularly drawn to the clinic’s mission, and I appreciate the organized and supportive work environment that fosters a true family atmosphere. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of a team that shares my values and commitment to patient well-being.
